My friend, Colleen, and I tried this place in Downtown Vancouver called Meat & Bread. We decided to meet up around lunch time on a Friday. I came from home and she came from school.
We both ordered the signature porchetta sandwich - pork loin, pork belly, and crackling skin served with salsa verde. UGH TOO GOOD! Arriving right before the lunch hour rush, Colleen and I quickly found seats at the communal table after paying for our meals.
This was our first hangout ever! Fun fact, we met each other in our OChem class (organic chemistry... I know right?!) where we had a few mutual friends who were taking it too.
We walked around for a bit then took photos at a back alley and a secondhand book store. I actually had no idea how good Colleen is with photos. I didn't even know my friend owned a camera HAHA. Lo and behold, she sent me these a few weeks after. Pretty cool, pretty cool. Thanks, Colleen!
