Concert Recap 2014

To people who have known me for the past years, they know I love going to concerts. 2014 was the year I really got into attending live music events. If I had somewhere to be, I would be at a concert most likely!

As soon as I see or hear of bands and artists coming to Vancouver, I would buy tickets right away. Seeing these people perform their songs live is a whole new experience! No doubt, it's 100x better than just listening to them from a playlist.

Breakdown of 2014 concerts I attended:

Bastille | Betty Who | Broods | Backstreet Boys | HAIM | Imagine Dragons | Magic Man | Smallpools | The 1975

Seeing Bastille was so much fun! The crowd was great keeping up with the band's energy. By band, I mean Dan jumping every now and then! Met him after the show. Cool dude!

Speaking of cool dudes, The 1975!!! They were here twice in April and November. I got to meet Matty too, pretty chill! Up 'til now, their 2013 self-titled debut album is one of my favourites.

Betty Who, Broods, Magic Man, and Smallpools all came to Vancouver for the first time. All newer artists I have been listening to :)

Imagine Dragons was awesome as always! Who does not know their chart-topping songs Radioactive and Demons? I waited a year until they had this arena concert since I was not old enough to go to their 19+ concert back in 2013 HAHA sad

HAIM was SO GOOD! These three sisters are seriously #goals - each playing a number of instruments. How cool is that! I wanna be like them! Share your talents please :)

And last but not the least, my younger self was very much excited to see the Backstreet Boys!!! Hehe, hello Nick Carter! :) Pretty much remember watching their music videos on MTV when I was younger. *cue in "I Want It That Way" with the airplane in the back*
